Because the citizens are armed.

Why use the term Marxist? The writer rather should use the word that the millennials are clamoring for, Socialist.

The Aral Sea must be why the aliens refuse to contact us.
Very few failures of socialism are so prominently visible from space.

Cultural Revolution: It started with just criticism of the old world using hand gestures:
Translation:
Criticize the old world and build a new world with Mao Zedong Thought as a weapon, 1966
Next year they moved on to SCATTER the old world with a huge hammer and planted boot!
Translation:
Scatter the old world, build a new world, 1967

Cambodia: a horrific example of socialist/Marxist/Communist
viciousness, hatred, weirdness and plain old
insanity and unchecked fanaticism run wild.

The Aral Sea is starting to come back at least. The commies tried but could not quite kill it.

Add Mexico to the list. Under the new socialist leader, Mexico will be like Venezuela in about five years.

When the errors and absurdities of the marxist exploitation theory and the evils and absurdities of
the marxism worldview in general are fully understood, it will be clear that never
before in all of human history has a greater bunch of pompous ignoramuses
with pretensions to knowledge behaved more destructively and
self-destructively - made themselves more a spectacle of downright
fools justly deserving the utter contempt and condemnation of all mankind - than have the marxist
intellectuals of the last four or five generations. Their lack of
genuine knowledge will be seen to be surpassed only by their lack of genuine intellect.
And marxism itself is doomed to failure.
