Not a thought I wanted to consider.
PMA,PMA,PMA...
That long underground with no resupply and minimal equipment it is a miracle that they made it.
I have been checking ‘cave news’ more than my personal email.
My wife returned and said she heard the cavers were found ALIVE!
It helps me forget the mountains of bad news.
That long underground ...
Looking around, I was surprised to find only a single sketch of the Tham Luang Nang Non cave system?
Being a climber, and there is the crossover between cavers and climbers (not so much for me). They seem to enjoy surveying caves and making maps.
Maybe now we will see a nice map of the water levels and rescue operation.
There are no highlights in soccer, just the clip of the only goal scored.......
If you have ever traveled in Asia, you will quickly note that they are very poor map makers.
fish.
Sounds like with the heavy rains and flooding in the cave, that process was negated.
Such great news, what a rescue effort. I did not expect such a good outcome.
That could be. I’m not sure what the overall situation in the cave was like. Was there a river running through it, and certain areas flooded, vs pretty much the extensive cavern in total.
Reminded me of the miners a while back, in which they were all found alive, but actually they were dead. Hope for the best for these boys & their coach.
Not rescued yet - so this is just the beginning.
Prayers for them and their loved ones.
Let me help with that...
OK, now we can get back to doing other things.
Chiang Rai provincial Gov. Narongsak Osatanakorn said the 13 were in the process of being rescued, but he cautioned that they were not out of peril yet.
“We found them safe. But the operation isn’t over,” he said in comments broadcast nationwide.
The good news is that they were all rescued.
Bright day in a dark world.
Photo of the cavers near the end of the article, plus cave maps in the Thai language.
12.02am Tuesday, Associate Professor Jessada Denduangboripant from Chulalongkorn University has shared photos that he claims are photos of the boys in the cave, taken once they were discovered. He said that the photos are confirmed by one of the boys family. CityNews is currently trying to verify the photos.

They have been located by not yet ‘rescued’.
Excellent and thorough report.
Thx
