Heck, all weapons are “assault” weapons. But why stop at weapons? Lets ban cars and knives as they kill people, too. Bad doctors? What about them?

A reporter for a midwestern newspaper died after falling over a trash can. The can deliberately placed itself in a normal walkway and double tripped him, an obviously premeditated act. State safety experts have been asked to examine the relative condition of trash receptacles in office buildings. The can is in police custody.
