I said years ago that electing a mayor to London was a complete waste of time. The three mayors they’ve had have been political and social disasters. Go back to only having a Lord Mayor (which still exists) and drop this stupid layer of bureaucracy.

Muzzies may not outnumber Brits in London, but the Muzzies vote as a block whereas the Brits are divided between liberals and conservatives.
Powers may be limited (I don’t know about that) but the London mayor has a true governmental position. The Lord Mayor is the ceremonial one.

Ah, thank you. I just realized that even though I’ve been seeing those terms for years “London mayor” and “Lord Mayor”, until your comment, I never before noticed that there is a distinction and they’re different offices. So stupid of me!

No one could have believed that even 10 years ago. In fact, the polls were so against it that even Obama had to lie against it so he could get elected. He knew the judges and the media would push it through against our will without his help. Absolutely incredible how quickly Satan works.
No problem with Ferarris or Corvettes, but those SUVs and hatchbacks have no legitimate sporting purposes, and they can be used to ram people in a crowd. There should be no tolerance for assault vans!
