I don't know the accuracy of the claim, but I saw one comment posted on here this morning that Cruz was claiming to have gotten Lee on Trump's SC list, as a condition of Trump getting Cruz's endorsement in 2016.

I believe, yesterday, Senator Ted Cruz recommended Senator Mike Lee as a good pick for the next Supreme Court Justice.
I nce heard an expert state that the two most enterprenurial religions are Jews and Mormons. Thought about it and he was right. They band together no matter what. Its all about the business.
And THAT, dear friends, is why Mike Lee should no more be the next Supreme, than Al Capone should be Treasury Secretary. This smells like something he and Cruz would have concocted as a way to knife PDJT in the back. Do we need another backstabber from Utah? JMHO.
Mike Lee introduced the Global Trade Accountability Act this year. This would put tariffs and other trade measures by the President under review of Congress.
We finally get a President who will fight for America when he sees the China/NAFTA/etc taking advantage of us. Mike Lee thinks Congress, under orders from their globalist money-men, should be able to overrule him.

Lee is just the kind of person who will turn on you in a lurch. A person like this on SCOTUS would be a booby trap ready to snap at the most inopportune time.
