DJT was elected on the promise of changing things and cleaning out the rot in DC that has accumulated over the last couple of decades. He promised to do that and is making good on that promise. From a political perspective, Trump doesn't owe the 'Rats a thing. They hate his guts and always will, so f-them. Disloyal 'Pubs are also in that category, but some of them perhaps (note, perhaps) can be salvaged.

This is our chance to really get something done for a change. We can be agents of that change if we unite behind this President and stand up for those things we believe in. We have to get behind our candidates this fall and really push them over the finish line. No staying home and whining about how so-and-so isn't perfect, or a "true" whatever. It's either that or continue to be a voice howling in the wilderness. We've been that for too long and I for one am tired of it.

How disappointing Trump’s success must be to the DC machine. A guy with no political experience that has never held office before comes in and makes things happen in 18 months - economy turned around, North Korea comes to the negotiating table, Russia next at the table, supreme court justices that actually believe in the constitution being appointed... The Dems are turning more socialist while the mainstream republicans realize that the conservatives in the country are with Trump more than with them.
