Doctors can "permit" for any condition they think will benefit the patient.

Permits allow possession up to 8 ounces of marijuana. And allows the backyard grow of up to 6 plants, plus six seedlings.

Just fully legalize it, already.

“Just fully legalize it, already.”

I’ve been saying that for 40 years.

About time pot prohibition bites the dust. And no, I don’t smoke the sh** nowadays. Just think it’s stupid to put people in jail for doing such, when I see it being very similar to booze, which is legal.

58% in the affirmative.

In a PRIMARY election. Which in OK is mostly Republicans. By far.

Lot of fools bought the "medicinal" propaganda. That's how they wedge it in everywhere they try it. The dumb portion of the population always falls for it.

I think if they had put it on a general election instead of a primary, it would have been defeated. Most voters don't pay any attention to primaries, and that is also a "sneak it in" tactic.

Looks like it’s going to pass 57%-43%.

57-58% affirmative.
By far most OK primary voters are conservative, active Republicans.
The general election likely would have seen 60% affirmative.

I guess the active, conservative Republican base voter is dumb.

Soon, nationwide.

6 mature plants can produce 60 lbs of smokable pot. Somehow I think there is going to be a big disconnect at harvest time.

Candidate Trump speaks favorably about medical marijuana and leaving legalization to the states =>

The fewer laws, the better. But we have to repeal or revamp the controlled substance act because marjuana is still illegal according to Federal law. The DEA needs to go. It should be folded into other agencies such as Border and a re-organized FBI. States should make the drug laws. The states can resolve disputes on their own and Federal courts can step in when there are disagreements.

I agree. I voted for it in Florida. How can I tell an 80 year old cancer patient to suck up the pain. Screw that.

The costs of enforcement against weed are much higher than the thing itself. It’s just bad policy.

Agreed. The Feds have no Constitutional authority to tell adults what they can or can not willingly put into their own bodies.

The drug was is over.

The US government lost.

I voted in OK today. It was, by far, the most crowded I have ever seen my precinct and I live in a very small town. When I vote, I’m in and out...there may be one more voter in the room. Today, there was a line out the door. They were in there voting on 788. If it were just the primaries, it would have been empty, as usual.

And regulate the Hell out of it, just like cigarettes, including the stratospheric THC levels.

Disagree. I prefer free market solutions.

If that’s able to pass in Oklahoma, people better prepare themselves for it to be fully legalized everywhere.
