Weakness invites further attacks. These thugs are not acting in good faith. They will take whatever you give them, and demand more.
You heard them. They want to abolish ICE and eliminate all border enforcement. You can’t buy these people off.
The vast majority in this country favor eliminating illegal border crossing and deporting illegal aliens. Most want to expel the DACA protectees.
How about responding to the will of the American People for a change, instead of trying to accommodate these thugs? You can’t compromise with people who want to destroy you.
Do you suppose Simpson and Massoli are remembered favorably? Their names are synonymous with “putz”. They gave away amnesty and got back nothing. The name “Ryan” could also be synonymous with “putz”.
Nobody will respect you for driving through a DACA deal. Americans will look at you as a betrayer, and the illegal aliens will not be satisfied with half measures.
Do your damn job. Serve the citizens of the United States. That is where your duty lies.
