John Walsh, the knowledgeable former chair of the Massachusetts Democrat State Committee, believes that Republican Gov. Charlie Baker can be beaten in November.
He may be right.
Walsh, after all, played a key role in the emergence and election of Deval Patrick then a nobody when Patrick first ran for governor in 2006.
But Patrick was unique. Not only was he the first African American elected governor, he was hands down the best campaigner in the business, and he could raise money.
Nevertheless, the old saying still goes: You cant beat somebody with nobod
Well the Governor might as well be a democrat....it makes no difference..
Translation:
"For Fox guarding hen house, removal of chicken wire would lead to paradise"
“Baker defeats Scott Lively of Springfield, a right-wing yahoo, in the GOP primary.”
I voted for the “yahoo” in the last election because I could not bring myself to vote for faker Baker. Couldn’t stand him the first time I met him and still can’t.
But it’s a moot point: I finally have been able to escape Massachusetts and settle in a place where the weather is better and the loonies a bit more palatable.
Baker’s son is under investigation for sexual assault on a plane.
Who cares? A Republican losing in a deep Blue State-what a shock.
Hardly matters.
