And McConnell's coasted on this ever since. Trump's been dragging him ever since, kicking and screaming to do his job.

No, just acknowledge it and give him a little credit for it. I really don’t like him at all, but this is about reinforcing good behavior - because he is going to be there for a long while. If he was like Ryan and on his way out, I’d say differently.
