I think (having all mags in Colorado before the ban):
For up close, the CCW Pistol I carried that day. Kahr MK40 or 45 ACP.
For mid range, something with more punch than 9mm: AK47 without a round in chamber to comply with Colorado Loaded Rifles in cars law along with a green cloth grocery bag full of loaded 30 and 40 round magazines for range time which I do use them for.
For closer mid range Mossberg 500 12 ga shotgun with a case of buckshot and maybe 2 shot. Some 3-inch #4 buckshot has over 40 pellets per round.
For longer range a scoped hunting rifle in .308 or 30-06 with varmint type ammo.
This crap was going on during the Republican primaries where Trump supporters were attacked at his rallies.
This is nothing new from the violent left.
I think it goes all the way back to the Red Scare of the 1920s then the radicals in the 1960s and now Antifa.
The two-minute hate of the left is now 24/7 with physical violence.

He was wise in not advocating for lethal force in so many words. That would so be used against him.
By using the innocuous sounding word of *neutralize* then he can play innocent and accuse the accusers of reading more into it than he meant and making them look like the bad guy. He's using their tactics against them.
