Sen. Chuck Schumer used the occasion of Sunday’s NYC Pride March to announce that his daughter, Alison, will be marrying her fiancée, Elizabeth Weiland. The women plan to walk down the aisle on Nov. 18.

For a small group of women, getting pregnant can be easily compartmentalized and separated from any sexual or romantic activity. They are goal oriented and many cases, running out of time to carry safely. End justifies means, for some.
Many men want that biological link, that direct knowledge that their genes are being passed onto the next generation.
For some men, it’s a sign of their devotion or commitment to the family.
Their seeds have now been sown. Other are open to variations.
No right or wrong, just different people with their own personal priorities.

The girl of my dreams busted up a marriage involving three children and sashayed off with the husband.
I was destroyed, but now, decades later, it looks like I dodged a bullet.
