Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-Ill.) on Sunday accused President Trump of using immigration rhetoric and "cruel, inhumane policies" to energize his political base.
"The president uses words like 'they're breeders,' 'in sanctuary cities they're protecting breeders.' He said yesterday 'they come to infest.' I mean, these are the kinds of words that the Republican Party and this president uses," Gutiérrez said on ABC's "This Week." "And he doesn't use it as immigration policy, he doesn't use it as border control policy, he uses it as an issue in order to energize his political base for the midterm elections."
"It's wrong to separate babies, to use cruel, inhumane policies in order to gin up your political base," he continued.
Gutiérrez's comments come days after Trump signed an executive order halting his administration's policy of separating migrant families apprehended at the border.
The "zero tolerance" policy, announced in April, seeks to aggressively prosecute those attempting to cross into the U.S. illegally via the southern border. Under the policy, more than 2,000 migrant families were separated after crossing the U.S.–Mexico border illegally.

Luis must be a vampire because he can’t see himself in the mirror. He is accusing President Trump of actions that he and his fellow Democrats started. My suspicion for the timing of this current kerfuffle (over actions identical to the previous Administration) is to get the FBI IG report off of the news and pump up the Democrat Base for 2018.
FYI: I think Rep. Luis is not returning to Congress in 2018, so we will have a respite from his jeremiads in the next Congressional term.

Luis, calling Trump a Nazi, and blaming him for the phony unfair and humane treatment of these folks in "internment centers" and concentration camps" is playing politically to you own base.
But the Left would never cash-in on a crisis, now would they?
Having been profiled and then arrested as illegal aliens violating our laws the criminals were then concentrated in jails that are segregated from real Americans. The discrimination between aliens and citizens is an ordinary and necessary action to proect real Americans
