Yep. The history of Islam has occasional times where successful Muslim barbarians become rich off of their conquests and start liking something approaching a civil society. They become before the Koran decadent and backslidden, even “tolerant” (the Baathist were bad but but they were marginally secular nationalists and so were better than Obama’s friends in the MB), in the eyes of some rural true believers who then raise an army and strike.
Aside: it would have been nice if instead of panicking about an emerging Christian Russia if England and France had instead taken the opportunity to join with them to destroy the Ottomans and not stopped till Mecca was a burnt out ruin and there were no independent Muslim lands left. It was shameful that they allied with the Turks. By then the French were somewhat a lost cause but that is still spot on about the Brits.
If it wasn't for the great amount of Muslim heretics, us infidels would be in a lot more trouble with Islam since the naivetes of Infidels doesn't allow us to face up to the fact the purpose of Islam is to have us Kafirs subjugated converted or killed.
