Maine’s Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate was arrested outside a detention center in Texas on Friday morning for refusing to leave the premises after being told he was not allowed in.
The nominee, Zak Ringelstein, announced Wednesday that he was traveling to McAllen, Texas, to deliver personal items, including toys, books and blankets to the immigrant children currently being held there.
A Facebook Live video, which contains the arrest, shows Ringelstein waiting outside the center, being told he cannot go in, and then arguing with border patrol agents in the parking lot. (RELATED: CNN Tries To Shame Border Patrol Agent – He Flips The Script And Leaves Host Speechless)
Ringelstein told the border agents that he believes, without going into the facility, that the children are being deprived of water, books, blankets, and other essential items.

Democrat Socialists view established federal laws, not as a uniformly applied compendium of statutes, but rather as a menu from which they alone are entitled to determine which laws to selectively enforce or ignore, based on their political convenience and advantage at any given time. U.S. federal immigration laws are but one of many such examples.

Meaningless virtue-signaling. If he really meant business, he’d offer to put up a few alien families in his own home. Because when they’re let loose on the rest of us, it’s not a matter of us being able to “go way over there” and give them a few blankets and toys, we have to have twenty of them living in one house in our neighborhoods, hanging their asses out the windows to use the bathroom after they clog up the toilet. That’s what’s real, not giving them a few token items then going back home, far away, while they make other people’s lives miserable with crime, leeching, etc.
