On average, the marijuana users required 7.6mg of opioid painkillers a day in hospital, compared to 5.6mg for non-drug users.
Thats a tiny dose of morphine. Its a moderate dose of Dilaudid. I wonder if the difference between 7.6mg and 5.6mg is statistically significant.
On a scale of zero-to-10, with 10 being the worst, people who had used cannabis rated their daily pain as 4.9, compared to 4.2 for non users.
Yeah, theres some *real* science. /s
Self-reporting of pain level on a scale of 1 to 10. How much more precise and reliable could they get? I wonder if theres statistical significance there, either.
“This could cause marijuana users to stay in hospital longer because we dont want to discharge them on massive doses of narcotics, said Dr Anne Wagner, from the UCHealth Burn Center, Colorado, who was not involved in the study.
7.6mg is massive? More hysteria.
Users may also experience drug withdrawal, such as nausea and vomiting, which can delay healing.
No fake-science crap report would be complete without at least one outright, obvious lie.
The pain scale they all use is absolutely ridiculous. Asked for pain meds in the hospital, nurse asked what my pain level was. Hmm....surgery about 12 hours ago...open wounds, I’ll give it a 6.
She said she couldn’t give me IV drugs unless I said my pain level was 7 or higher. She asked what my pain level was and I told her 7. Got my shot.
Stupid.
Yeah, was that 7.6 milligrams of Fentanyl or 7.6 milligrams of Tramadol?
TRASH SCIENCE !!
