The real question is, why does Ted say he’s “mayor”?
His power stems from the Constitution of the United States, which legitimized the State of Oregon and of course in turn, the city of Portland, chartered under all those documents.
But now he says he ain’t cooperating, he’s on his own?

Let Teddy dispute all that by explaining why the law that made him Fearless Leader of Lesser Portland is somehow superior to all the other laws of the United States.
America began to restrict immigration in the early part of the last century, with the end of the frontier and growing concern about who we were admitting. The Americans of that era weren’t about to put up with communist views about who was American or lectures about “who we are.”
The blue states are in open rebellion. The left are in an all out war to finish off America and the Constitution.

I honestly believe that no one can be this stupid. A country without borders before long will have more trouble than you can imagine and the same holds true allowing just about any Tom Dick and Harry to move in. A good example are some of the countries in Europe which are being over run. The only explanation for this ignorance and stupidity is that there must be something in the water what clouds peoples minds. I am all for helping people what would be helping them at the source where they are coming from, that is if they really want to change and accept the help. And if not that’s just tough.

Trump should shut down the customs offices at the Portland airport and the Portland shipping port until they agree to cooperate with ICE.
When all the international air and sea ports are closed for business, then maybe they’ll think twice about cooperating with the feds.

One of the things I eould like to see, and I think it’s beginning to get a little traction, is the efforts of Richard Dreyfuss (the actor). Dreyfuss has formed an initiative to reinstitute the Civics courses that were taken out of public school curricula in 1972. I think it’s called The Dreyfuss Initiative.
A lot of the problems we are observing stem from people who are ignorant of how a constitutional republic functions, and the responsibilities of citizenry.

Federalize an Infantry battalion of Oregon national guard and force them to protect federal property. I’ll be some of those Portland Cops do double duty in the Guard. Force Oregonians to protect the property.
