I appreciate the notions of shooting fleeing felons but anymore that won’t resonate with a growing number of people who don’t want to see unarmed and non-threatening people getting shot.
Myself, I’ll wait for the bodycam recording before passing judgment but I doubt that the mob will be so patient.
Oh, and if the bodycam was conveniently off or broken or lost then I’m sure the news coverage of a burning city will be pretty interesting.
Whether they feel like resonating or not, people trying to burn down a city should be shot as well.
As someone noted earlier: “Play stupid games; win stupid prizes.”
Yeah, well, I’ll save my outrage for “honor” students shot while walking home from the library, not hood rats fleeing a gang shooting. If you have trouble discerning the difference, that’s sad.
Right.
And remember, all of us, please:
When a white sees a criminal matter go the wrong way or a bill not passed in Congress, or OJ freed by a racist jury against ALL evidence then the white is unhappy and quiet.
When blacks see the beginning of a probable matter for trial with charges possible against a police officer,usually with the last few seconds of a smart phone video showing only one side of the story!) then they scream,shout,yell, chant,pound their feet, make fists, throw rocks and bricks at store and bank windows, threaten to kill random whites, and then really get mad after that!
I literally lived in the City of Detroit as a Wayne State University student in 1967 as the Detroit black riots began and I delivered campus mail from the college mail trucks with an armed National Guardsman with his rifle pointing outward from his perch on the running board. I know what I’m saying.
