I don’t buy into the ‘Helter Skelter’ blacks vs. whites race war narrative fed to us by investigators after the murders.. I think there was a massive cover up as to the REAL motive for the murders which was DRUGS, DRUG-RUNNING and the Manson family was a HIT SQUAD FOR THE MOB who recruited Manson while he was in prison!!!
I read “Helter Skelter” by Vincent Bugliosi back in the seventies. Don’t remember any drug running other than small time transactions and their own use(which was a considerable amount) Manson absolutely hated blacks. He was in prison since a young age and no doubt got “turned” quite a bit and, no surprise by large black males. But for the Mob? I doubt the Mob would trust such a unstable person. Give me a source and I’ll read it
