This is obvious. They want this as a political issue for November. The only logical course of action is to increase the pressure until they buckle. Exactly, the parents are putting their children at risk by engaging them in breaking into another country.
We do not want to take their children from them, we want them to go home together.
If I were Trump, I’d write a time-limited executive order and it would end seven days after the election in November. Either they stand up and do real legislation or it goes back to the norm. You can blame Democrats for failure.
