Catholicism has two options:
By whatever means there may be FORCE the appointment of a vetted follower of Christ as Pope.
or
Eliminate the office, and — as is Scriptural — finally declare Christ as the Forever Only Legitimate Head of The Church (ref. Eph 1:22, 4:15, 5:23; Col. 1:18).
What did Christ do after Peter denied Him three times? Put him down by force?
No, He restored Peter and put him back to work for the flock.
"Peter, do you love Me? Feed My lambs. Feed My lambs. Feed My sheep."
What did St. Paul do in the Book of Acts when Peter was "clearly in the wrong"? He confronted him to his face.
We need to pray for Francis so that he will get back to his job of feeding the sheep, caring for the flock.
And when he's wrong, we need to confront him to his face.
I assume the Pope will be inviting these kids to stay at the Vatican..after all its surrounded by a HUGE wall

Not Scriptural? Hello? Saint Paul, “not Scriptural”?
You don’t like the crystal clear reading of what St Paul wrote about Who really is Head of The Church, so you get a free pass to cherry pick, and exclude certain verses as “not Scriptural”?
You want to say my take on those verses isn’t “Scriptural” then you demonstrate why. You lay out the plain text of each reference I gave you, and you give me THE MEANING of each one; you tell me what those verses really mean, if they don’t mean what they appear to mean in plain language.

Who? You? When? How? You got your flight booked? You got a Papal audience booked on his calendar?
If he refuses you audience or doesn’t listen to you, Matthew 18 says leave and come back with one or two others. Who’s going with you on that trip?
If he refuses to listen to the group of you on that second encounter, Jesus’ directive in Matthew 18 is to tell it to the whole church. NOT the same thing as a media press conference, this would be you and your other witnesses bringing the matter before the entire church as an internal adjudication. Again, with the goal that he’d listen to the decision of the greater body.
By what authority will you bring him before that body for a hearing, and if he refuses to listen to the whole church, by what authority will you take the next step, cast him out, and treat him as an unbeliever?
You’ve got a VERY long row to hoe, if you think this is how you’re going to bring this un-Biblical Pope back into the fold of Christian orthodoxy.
From what others have posted, Benedict doesn’t seem to think he’s been replaced, but is merely playing “Moses” to Bergoglio’s “Aaron” as part of a sort of tag-team arrangement.

I didn't say anything against Paul. In fact, I said he was a good example to us, because when Peter was clearly in the wrong, he "confronted him to his face."
Everyone knows that Jesus is the head of His Church. He is the head, we are the body.

Speaking of Christ, he writes, “22 And [God] has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” [Eph. 1:22-23]
Jesus Christ, then, is Head of The Church, which is his body.
“15 But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body ...” [Eph. 4:15-16]
Once again: Christ is the Head from Whom the body extends.
[It would serve you well to actually crack the bible and read all of this in full context, BTW.]
“23 For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior.” [Eph. 5:23]
Yet, again, Christ is Head, The Church is his body.
[Read that whole passage, because it is beautiful.]
Again, writing about Christ, Paul clearly asserts, “18 He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.” [Col. 1:18]
Definitively, then, Christ is The Head of The Church, and all we who follow after Him, being heirs of Salvation, are all members of his body.
But I agree with that. Who else could be head of the Body of Christ, except Christ?
What else could all the rest of us be, but members of His Body?
The passages from Paul about Christ's Mystical Body shed brilliant light on one of my absolute favorite themes of Scripture. I have been meditating on it and living it for nearly 60 years.
Why would you think I would disagree?

Peter’s restoration was not to Headship, but to Leadership.
