41% favor expanding construction of walls along U.S.-Mexico border
83% approve of allowing DACA immigrants to become citizens
Republicans, Democrats agree on DACA, disagree on walls
The majority of Americans (57%) oppose expanding the construction of walls along the nation's Southern border, a centerpiece of President Donald Trump's proposed immigration-related policies. At the same time, a large majority of Americans favor allowing immigrants brought into the country illegally as children to have a pathway to U.S. citizenship. Both proposals are included in at least one of the two Republican-sponsored bills the U.S. House of Representatives is preparing to vote on this week.
Americans also modestly oppose the idea of ending the policy of allowing immigrants who are legally in the U.S. to sponsor relatives to move to the country. Slightly more favor than oppose banning "sanctuary cities."

Fake polls.
BS
Agreed. So says this organization (among many similar others) who proclaimed two years earlier about the inevitability of a Hillary presidency.
Propaganda polls designed to make opinion, not measure it.
We should let President Hillary Clinton know about this important poll!
Americans favor sactuary cities? BS!
So subjective Gallup uses dishonest methodology to publish fake poll reports.
The poll was conducted by Jim Acosta and Jorge Ramos. fakenews.
I don’t believe this data.
Method matters.
How about polling only registered voters? Excluding all other classes...like illegal aliens.
Any poll of “Americans” is completely worthless on any and all subjects.
Would never believe a Gallup poll.
Anyway, walls mean no more Mexican children concentration camps. /s If they can’t cross the border, we can’t lock them up in cages. Liberals should love walls.
This whole thing is ludicrous.....
While I agree with that statement, hasn’t every poll on DACA come back with a strong majority in favor? Polls should not be used to drive policy but Congress is elected to represent the will of the people, and even if polls are effective in manipulating public opinion, then the result is the same.
Nobody I know is against a wall or deporting illegal aliens. I guess it depends on who they ask.
“Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted June 1-13, 2018, with a random sample of 1,520 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.”
Fake poll.
Idiots, polled the wrong side of the border again.
For the immigration questions, this was a sample of about 750 random adults. About 70% were reached on cellphones.
In other words, it’s a junk poll. Meaningless.
Liberals DO love walls...Around their own compounds to keep out the conservative and rifraf...
They never ask me.
I am opposed to any amnesty.
DACA was illegal at its inception and is still illegal today.
They are still illegal aliens subject to removal.
Writing new laws to suit those breaking current law is always bad policy.
