They glorify the mafia and gang life (in movies, TV shows, and ‘music’), giving it an aura of rebellious mystique that feeds recruiting and gang-related crime and suffering. They covered up sexual crimes and aggression against young women and men in their own profession - for years and years, until they could no longer do so.
