This is because the mainstream media has deliberately blurred the line between facts and opinions.

Nine-in-10 Democrats correctly incorrectly identified the statement President Barack Obama was born in the United States as factual, while only 63 percent of Republicans saw it as factual. PUHLEEZE!!

Not being able to tell fact from fiction is one of the many serious, debilitating symptoms of the chronic, no-cure mental disease known “liberalism”.

What is that factual, or opinion?
Democrats say factual, Republicans opinion. And the Pew research people said the Republicans were wrong

The entire premise of this study is false and contradicts the whole need for a jury. In a trail, juries are finders of facts. They weigh evidence presented to them and use that evidence to decide what facts are.
Apply this to the BC issue. Evidence is presented to various people and based on each person’s weighing of the evidence the person comes to a conclusion if they accept the evidence or reject the evidence. If I were to reject the evidence presented that Obama published BC were legit doesn’t mean that I have rejected a fact nor does it mean that my rejection is an opinion.

Nine-in-10 Democrats correctly identified the statement President Barack Obama was born in the United States as factual, while only 63 percent of Republicans saw it as factual.Lousy survey question. Some informed people still debate this. I'm not so sure myself.

Nine-in-10 Democrats correctly identified the statement President Barack Obama was born in the United States as factual We don't actually know if that is fact or not. Thus the poll was flawed in my opinion.
To: yesthatjallen
This says more about Pew not being able to tell fact from opinion as the two examples in the excerpt prove. I didn’t read any more than that because the excerpt was such as insult to intelligence and logic.
To: yesthatjallen
That would be because fakestream presstitutes present opinion as fact.

Ah yes, this again, the reason this was surveyed and published:
