There is nothing legal about it. They are making a mockery of the law. I never thought I’d live to see this, but now I feel I’ve lived too long. This is so disillusioning for someone who grew up with great respect for the law.
The Russian company certainly hired better lawyers than this guy appears to have hired.
As for shutting down Mueller, no way. Let him continue to twist in the wind. The voters will see more and more how unfair and unethical he is. Most voters care about MAGA, and the wall in second place. All this other stuff is way down on the list.
Doesn't much matter. Manafort made his bed, let him lie in it for a while. OTOH Flynn is first in line for a pardon, no question about that.
Most of we the people who have read and understand the charges against Manafort realize that he simply got caught up in the witch hunt, but should have registered, paid taxes, etc on his work for foreign governments. We the people think MAGA is much much more important than Manafort and do not want to jeapordize that and waste time on impeachment hearings.
I talked to a conservative clerk a couple weeks ago and he was very nervous about letting me know he was Trumper. They are as leftist as Nancy Pelosie's congressional district.
