For the last couple of weeks I've been attending the "Cadillac Frank" Salemme trial in Boston.In it I've heard Steve "The Rifleman" Flemmi admit to having been involved in "about fifty" murders.I heard him testify to having killed two of his girlfriends (one of whom was also his stepdaughter) and after having done so he pulled out their teeth so they couldn't be identified if they were found.
All this,he said,was on the orders of "Whitey" Bulger,formerly #1 of the FBI's Most Wanted List.
Hearing that this film stinks disappoints me...I was looking forward to seeing it (on a DVD I'd get from my library).

Go to your local library and check out some really good reads on Gotti and his ilk by authors Volkman and Blum.

Best movie about Gotti is HBO's "Gotti" (1996) - with Armande Assante in the starring role and a bunch of actors who later became part of the Sopranos' cast.
Armand Assante does an amazing job in this role.
Well worth seeing if you are into mob movies. It's about 90 minutes long, and can be seen in it's entirety on YouTube.
