All:

And WHY was it necessary for Donald Trump to hire Paul Manafort and bring him into his campaign, at a very , very high price??

Who remembers?... The delegate THIEF in Chief— Ted Cruz.

Trump was winning nearly every state primary and Cruz was sneaking in afterward and either bribing, coercing, wrangling (call it what you may) Trump’s allocated delegates.

Ted was stealing the nomination from Trump and was going to continue all the way to the convention.

Cory Lewandowski had been doing an awesome job running the Trump campaign. But, he did not have the know how to deal with the opposing slime ball thieves of the Cruz campaign.

Manafort put an end to the bleeding of delegates; that was his #1 job. Paul succeeded in stopping the delegate theft about 90% of the time.

Without Paul Manafort, Cruz would have prevailed and then lost to the she-Beast.

We’d all be serfs to Hillary and Soros and co.

God help Paul Manafort, who owe him a depth of gratitude.

Trump jettisoned Manafort unceremoniously due to Trump’s suspicion that Manafort was engaging in cash-based monkey business. (In his book Lewandowski and others had (IIRC) suggested they simply take away his ability to write checks for the campaign when the stuff began to surface before Manafort was fired and while the power struggle was still going on!)

Sure, in his book “Let Trump Be Trump”, it is clear that Lewandowski clearly had a personal axe to grind, but Lewandwoski remained on excellent terms with Trump even after being fired and continued to get a retainer paid from him for six months after he was fired, instead of the three months he had negotiated when he took the job.

Lewandowski thought that was quite generous.

Manafort has no such ongoing relationship.

Doesn’t make your assessment in any way inaccurate Beautiful_Gracious_Skies, and it does buttress the view of Trump as being a pragmatic can-do guy who was willing to take on an unsavory character to get an important job done.

You need medication.
