Well, yesterday sort of blew VDH’s thesis out of the water. The IG pulled a Combover, laid out all the evidence, then said, “no culture of bias here.”

That's true and very important. But it is equally true that the people, for the most part, vote for the managerial state which is a superset of the deep state. They give their pork barrel rep 50+ percent approval while giving Congress as a whole 13% The people also vote for safety and their reps promise that as well.

I think though that your solution must come first before people will realize that they don't need big government.
