Firing is only the first step. The ethical lapse is enough that disbarment should be started.
Firing and disbarment is too little. #2 is admitting to sedition. This guy belongs in the pokey for a long, long time.

Thank you for mentioning disbarment. Most of these traitors are attorneys, and will land themselves high paying jobs if not disbarred, either before or after long prison terms, hopefully. (Firing squads in a more just world, no doubt.)
