President Donald Trump sat down for an exclusive one-on-one with ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos after the president's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday in Singapore.

Among a host of topics, Trump said he trusts Kim to follow through on his pledge to denuclearize, discusses how long it will take, the "terrible" Iran nuclear deal and explains the now-viral photo of him facing down Angela Merkel at the G-7 summit in Quebec.

Who know Steffie could act like an actual journalist?

It's only because he fears PDJT's far superior mind, and knows he'd be sorry if he tried his snarky little piss-ant tricks.

One of the key questions:
G: You say his people love him. Just a few months ago you accused him of starving his people. And listen, here’s the rub. Kim is a brutal dictator. He runs a police state, forced starvation, labor camps. He’s assassinated members of his own family. How do you trust a killer like that?

T: George, I’m given what I'm given, okay? I mean, this is what we have, and this is where we are, and I can only tell you from my experience, and I met him, I've spoken with him, and I’ve met him. And this was, as you know, started very early and it's been very intense. I think that he really wants to do a great job for North Korea. I think he wants to denuke, it’s very important. Without that, there's nothing to discuss. That was on the table at the beginning, and you see a total denuclearization of North Korea -- so important. And, he wants to do the right thing. Now, with all of that being said, I can’t talk about -- it doesn’t matter. We’re starting from scratch. We’re starting right now, and we have to get rid of those nuclear weapons.

The reality is that Trump didn't create this whole situation. He walked into it a year and half ago, and it had been messed up for decades. He didn't complain about the mess he inherited like some presidents do, he simply stated that this was the hand he was dealt, and how he was going to play it. Once again, Trump looks to turn a losing hand into a winning hand.

I did too. I figure, this man is working over time for me, then I should get up early and listen to him. As long as he was standing, I was listening. Thank you, for people like you too.

Before I went into work, I checked out some other stations. MSNBC, Morning Joe, was in full throttle Trump bashing. The Girl Friend, was jittery, obvious body language. She was tight lipped, and had guests on there who were mocking the summit and results, (all post Obama era lackeys).

Then she invites some journalist, who’s had it out for Trump since day one, his name escapes me, and what does he talk about? Trump’s bashing of his EU and Canada partners.

Then two others chimed in, that “this is a new low” in our relationship with other allies. If they had listened to the news conference, they would have learned that Trump gives them extreme credit for the outcome, saying without the support of our allies, this would not have happened.

Trump recognizes who we are, and what we represent and our responsibilities. He recognizes that with a strong military, and economy we can lead the world in the right direction and DEMAND, yes DEMAN peace and prosperity for all.

Tired of winning yet?

Steffy because of his Clinton links and his role on GMA which plays well in Middle America needs to play these POTUS interviews pretty straight. Despite his Sunday show GMA is the driving force here and its content needs to be much more appealing to as wide an audience as possible.

Out of respect for the office, the snark is postponed until the post-interview analysis, when they tell the masses what to think.

Who know Steffie could act like an actual journalist? Not a word of snark or CNN-ish spin and excellent questions and responses from the President.

He may have been warned ahead of time. ANY stupid questions would be slapped down and Steffie would be made a fool of in front of the whole World!

Yeah, heckuva press conference. What, about an hour of questions? Offered to stay longer. Took snide questions and turned them on questioner. Answered fair questions fully. Clearly a man in charge of his faculties. Knowledgeable. Mastery of facts. No bluster. Some boasting (it ain’t bragging if you can do it, though). Respect for allies and adversaries. President Trump (25 hours with no sleep) is a marvel of a leader. I am in awe.

He interrupted a lot, and harped on the “how can you trust him” several times, but finally Trump said, “Look, I’m given what I’m given,” (or something like that) to indicate that Kim is what he is and that’s who we’re dealing with, so... I like that Trump is plain-spoken and pragmatic.

I can’t stand snuffaluffagus so I won’t watch.

I understand where you're coming from. It was actually a straight-forward, straight-up interview. Good questions, no sniping, no lecturing, just good old Q&A. No b.s. I was shocked.

The thing I noticed most was that it was the Foreign Media that asked the best questions, were respectful, and President Trump thanked them for their good questions.

Don't you wish the lying liberal media here in the U.S. learned how to behave and ask good, thoughtful questions like the foreign media did?

I just hope that George is on guard and ready to correct DJT in the event that Trump accidentally refers to himself as a muslim.

“Can’t watch George”

Same here.

He’s very careful to make sure our domestic enemies state their lies correctly to the American people.
