Is it just possible that those who attend church, in particular Christians, have a safety net to rely on?

Even if it's only someone to talk and discuss your problems and issues with it helps but those who attend, pun intended, religiously also know that their church members will try to help in any way they can.

It can make a big difference if you know that someone knows what you're going through, cares about you, and are trying to help.

There is not only heavenly intervention in the invisible world but one also has face to face relationships that lift one’s spirits and are encouraging. Everyone suffers in this world but in a church of believers one does not have to go it alone.
