Alex Haleys The Autobiography of Malcolm X” is not all that radical as it is not uncommon to find it on a high school reading list.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X is not all that radical as it is not uncommon to find it on a high school reading list.It is only because our society has moved so far to the Left that "The Autobiography of Malcolm X" could be regarded as "not that radical." It's also the reason that the book is shoved down the throats of high school students to begin with, instead of having them read something more worthy (I guess that The Federalist Papers are out, Malcolm X is in).

Is this sarcasm? Haley's work is outrageous and it has been almost completely discredited. (to wit: "ROOTS," aven the manuscript stolen... And he lost the lawsuit!) Haley, like the father of Kwanzaa Ron Karenga (a gang-rapist and convicted torturer of woman), symbolizes all that is despicable, "radical," and largely invented about "African American Studies." Wanna puke? They made a museum out of it. Have a look around.
