Feinstein is bought and paid for.

Senator Diane Feinstein’s husband is Richard Blum. He’s made billions off government contracts. In 2011 the post office decided to sell a few historic buildings. The buyers were found they just needed someone to do the paperwork. He got the contract and charged commisions in excess of 900 million. Richard Blum and his personal company(which includes DiFi) are the majority stockholders in Comcast.

I just listened to a ICE director on CSPAN about this very thing. If the families enter the country at a checkpoint and request asylum the families are not separated. They are placed in a Family Residence Center.

If the families enter illegally, the parents are detained because they have committed a crime. The children are placed in a holding center run by HHS.

What does DiFi want? Does she the children place in the detention center, basically a jail with other adults. It is not safe. The children are placed in a separate facility for their safety.

Bring it to the floor. It would make a lovely campaign ad.

The Demonrats have essentially become the anti-Constitution, anti-normal-American party. They adored breaking up families when it was Randy Weaver and the FEDS brain shot his wife and his kid. And besides, I thought the Demonrats loved zero-tolerance!

t’s puzzling too this talk about “at the border.” If a family is caught stealing across, isn’t the whole family turned back to Mexico?

Puzzling to me, too. It seems a clear cut case but I believe the parents are put in a detention center until their deportation case is adjudicated(I believe a complete waste of time and money). The children are placed in a separate holding center for children run by HHS.

Just heard all this on CSPAN from an ICE official.
See my earlier post on this thread.

Having a border is an essential element of being a sovereign nation.

Enforcing a reasonable immigration law is required to avoid encouraging people to continue to enter our nation unlawfully.

When people know that this is not an option they will quit trying and will stick to lawful means.

Also, we need a way to verify if people are attempting to exploit our generous asylum laws. When anyone is found to be exploiting them, they should be permanently barred from entry to this nation.

Those in this nation who are aiding and abetting immigration crimes should spend serious time in a federal penitentiary.

This will not see the light. Feinstein, you old, ugly, leftist bastard goat, go away and leave this country in peace. You have been here too long and have nothing to show for it except your enriched bank account. Screw you.

Every day, almost without fail, we are “treated” to the next RAT bill that’s going to derail this policy or that. What an absolute pile of misinformed crap! The RATS, even of they were to gain one House or the other are not going to get $hit passed in the Congress with Trump as President. So I am left with all this “pearl clutching” here. Fineswine’s “bill” shouldn’t get squat here in terms of any real interest.

Simple answer - declare that children of two illegal alien parents, that happen to be born in the US, are not citizens under our Constitution (SCOTUS never tested this, and it needs to be tested), and that such children will be sent back with their parents, in order to keep the families together.

Dianne Feinstein: “The United States must not be a country that traumatizes young children by separating them from their parents,”

What about children separated from their American parents - parents fighting overseas to keep us free? Is that OK Dianne (effing out-of-touch witch) Feinstein?

“Senate Democrats announced legislation Friday to prevent authorities from separating children from their parents at the border”

The demoncrats champion permanently separating children from their parents at planned parenthood...They actually kill the children.

Hypocritical a-holes

In a number of cases, we’re separating them from their exploiters and/or molesters. I guess DiFi is okay with the abuse continuing as long as she can score political points.

Didn’t (B)Mitch say a couple of weeks back that no bill will process through the $inate unless the President indicates he will sign it? Somehow I don’t see this getting much progress.

“If you commit a crime in this country, the police will take you to jail regardless if you have a family or not."

Remember that the Democrats are so convinced that illegal immigration should not be a crime that they have completely forgotten it still is. DiFi and her cohorts would never accept this line of reasoning because they as so convinced the law is wrong.

I’ll say it again. US citizens arrested are separated from their children when they go to jail. Why should illegals getting preferred treatment?
