after they hear Dutch far right MP Geert Wilders call for the English Defence League founder to be freed
Supporters of Tommy Robinson have clashed with police at a Whitehall demonstration after hearing Dutch far-right MP Geert Wilders call for the English Defence League founder to be freed.
Wilders, 54, who was banned from Britain in 2009 only to get it overturned, has attended today's protest after the EDL founder was jailed for 13 months.
Robinson pleaded guilty to contempt of court and breaching the terms of a suspended sentence he was handed last May for a similar offence.
His supporters have gathered in huge numbers at a series of protests outside Downing Street, Leeds Crown Court and even at British embassies in Europe.
More than 593,000 people have also signed a petition .....

I still don’t know if Tommy Robinson is staged? Controlled opposition?
Obviously, we oppose the destruction of the nation state as seen currently in Britain, because it will be the death of freedom.
Research will clarify.
The UK’s problems go much deeper than protesters or Mr. Robinson. There’s a decay growing inside the halls of power there just like our deep state in America that needs to be excised and burned as hazardous waste.
This.
Having heard Tommy speak many times, I can tell you he is for real. If you nothing about him, you should start with his speech to the Oxford University Union (it’s on Youtube).
That's because he could damage the trial.
ALL reporting is banned until the trial is concluded, otherwise the muzzo rapists could claim that the jury were influenced by reports and thus the entire trial would be quashed and have to re-start.
Yaxley-Lennon isn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Just one of the most heroic.
I watched it live on FaceBook and didn’t see that anybody clashed with the police. It looked to be a peaceful rally.
There were other reporters there. He had asked the cops if what he was doing was ok.
He’s the real deal. He’s been fighting the good fight for years.
Heroic? He’s a bloody idiot. He was already on a suspended sentence for filming inside a court. His actions are a great way for the muzzies to claim the jury were swayed and for the whole trial to collapse. Is that a GOOD THING, do you think?

The trial was over. It was the sentencing Tommy got arrested at.
They weren't reading out defendant's names and the crimes they'd been accused of. And as I said, he was already on a suspended sentence for filming on a mobile phone in Canterbury court, which is completely illegal under English law, for everyone, ever, not just for muzzo trials.
Not so - the jury were considering sentencing
Having just got home from the scene, I can report that the gathering itself was peaceful and all the speakers good. Hard to tell on the ground how many were present, but several thousand I would say. Several MAGA hats visible. And always a few confused tourists and day trippers mixed up with it all. A couple of people set off hand-held flares, but the crowd told them to stop and a third attempt was knocked to the ground to burn out. After the demonstration a portion of the crowd made their way back towards Trafalgar Square where they blocked the road where it meets Whitehall; I think they then tried to move through Admiralty Arch (which leads up the Mall towards Buckingham Palace) and Police in riot gear pushed back - which I think is where the “clash” occurred (just a few minutes which in my view put a spoiler on the day and didn’t reflect the atmosphere of most of the day). I don’t see any report at all yet on BBC news (they had reporters present), I guess it will take them a little while to edit their material to make it look as bad as possible.
BTW that petition seems to have stuck around 605,000 for last couple of days.
The jury only consider guilty or not guilty, not sentencing. And they are not allowed to look up anything related on Youtube while making their decision - that would place them in contempt. I haven’t sat through all of his live-stream broadcast, so can’t judge what he did; but if all he did was broadcast information that was already in the publilc domain, then that is not in contempt of court nor a valid reason for dimissing a case. (And he wasn’t the only one live-streaming outside that court during this trial.)
Not enough native Brits left to make a difference.
You have no trouble swallowing anything, it seems.
