What do Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Obamacare, and President Trump all have in common? All of those people, and institution, have higher favorability numbers than the NFL.
According to a Fox News poll released on Thursday, the NFL’s net favorability rating comes in at 42%. Only former FBI Director Robert Mueller, Rudy Giuliani, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and Roseanne Barr, have lower favorability numbers.
The NFL’s lack of popularity stands out even more, when looking back at where the league was only five years ago. In October of 2013, the league had a 64% favorability rating. By October of 2017, those numbers had fallen to 46%, and now, to 42% Numbers which show a 22% decline in the league’s popularity in less than five years.

But it is over. For all pro sports for me. High School and College football is a lot more fun.
I will miss Fantasy Football with the rest of the family.

Never cared much about the NFL and now don’t care at all.
Take away the tax exemptions and watch it collapse even more.

If I want professional football, I will watch Canadian. College is far better to me, more meaningful and exciting.

The younger guys aren’t football fans like their parents were.
It costs an arm and a leg to see a NFL game nowadays.

Now it’s a propaganda arm of the globalist deep state.
My dad had a number of friends that played For Michigan then the NFL. We usually got Super Bowl tickets. but now we don’t even watch the NFL Anymore on TV.College football or NHLis getting our money.
We are hoping that Congress will revoke the monopoly status (and tax subsidies) of the NFL .. soon!.......
then we will enjoy new teams entering the marketplace...
some of which will probably be smart enough to NOT REPEAT the NFL’s policy of “America and our patrons/fans can GTH!”
Young men under age 25 generally have no interest in spectator sports. The NFL has become an unwatchable product. The league has a serious long term viability problem, kneeling or no kneeling.
The NFL is dead to me.
All Major professional sports have become politicized. You must support all the “causes” or you risk losing the players, the pompous league brass and some of the fans.
They’ve wrecked their own brands. Watch the spiraling TV contracts from here on out. ESPN was the first to wreck it’s brand. The NFL soon followed.
I’m waiting to see low season ticket sales, then I’ll smile.
