Senior Justice Department officials announced late Thursday criminal charges against Senate Intelligence Committee’s long-time director of security James Wolfe.
The indictment charges Wolfe with making false statements to the FBI and details how Wolfe passed classified information, including presumably information related to one-time Trump campaign aide Carter Page, to a series of media outlets, confirming long-standing suspicions of the career intelligence community’s complicity in leaks. The three-count indictment charges Wolfe with separate instances of making false statements to the FBI, not directly charging him for leaking classified information, but appearing to detail how he did allegedly leaked classified information to reporters and then allegedly lied about it to the FBI.

The NY Times PAID their reporter to have "relationships" with this guy so as to gain access to secret information. The Old Gray Lady is complicit in treason. AND, all the fake news channels readily report what this treasonous paper writes and thus colludes with them in this crime.

So a Senatorial Committee has a full time staffer as “Director of Security”? And doesn’t bother to notice that this tax sponge IS the insecurity? Doesn’t sound credible to me. This smells like a sacrifice fly so the principals make it home safe.

Why do you believe he’s small fish?
For 30 years, he was Director of Security for the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI).
“Wolfe was responsible for receiving, maintaining, and managing all classified information provided to the SSCI by the Executive Branch of the United States.”
After receiving information, he would contact the reporter(s) using encryption. He was having an affair with at least one of the reporters, and interestingly, their affair ended in December 2017, after Wolfe was confronted about the leaks.
We don’t know either way at this point, but Wolfe might just be the failing bottom card that brings the entire house down.

Part of me hopes Sessions is actually working and Trump castigates him for show to "distance" himself in the media eye so when the hammer falls it's Sessions doing the round up not Trump.
We know. Sessions’ DOJ reneged on their promise to provide unredacted memos to Jordan and Meadows. ‘Justice,’ is still playing for the Deep State team.
So, beyond staying out of the way, just what did Sessions DO to further this investigation? Wolfe wasn’t sufficiently senior to warrant interference from Sessions or Rosenstein.
Make me a believer, Jeff. Investigate Adam Schiff(head) for leaking.
Finally — the word that immediately came to mind for me too.
The investigation has been going on for months. People don’t seem to get that.

I’ve been very critical of him, and am glad to see he’s moving on a serious problem.
And now as you say, “Now more, and faster”. Indeed.
We gave him a hammer. He should use it.
Because treason requires an act of war against the United States or the giving of aid and comfort to an enemy. Espionage requires the transfer of state secrets to a foreign country. Neither apply in this situation.
He is a small fish compared to McCabe, Comey, Clapper, Brennan
and of course Hillary just to name a few.
