The more recreational drug production and sales, the less production and sales of useful items. It can ruin an economy. Why stop there? How "useful" is beer? Soda? Who "needs" a Harley-Davidson? Or a chia pet? The economy is not a zero sum game. That's the kind of thing leftists believe. In socialist countries they don't have all those non-useful consumer goods. They should be the most robust economies the world, right?
