The highly anticipated report from the Justice Department's inspector general is expected to yield an unvarnished account of multiple missteps by former top officials at the department and FBI for their failure to follow long-standing protocols in the handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe, according to sources familiar with the matter.
While sources caution the report is not yet final, and responses from individuals named in the report will be included, the exhaustive review of a momentous period in the department's history is expected to criticize former FBI Director James Comey's handling of the investigation at key junctures for violating departmental norms.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz is expected to recommend the department devise further written guidelines that would have addressed some of the actions taken by Comey.
But sources tell CNN that Comey is not the only one who will receive a tough judgment from Horowitz.
The report is also critical of former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, though sources could not provide further details.
Another source briefed on the report said it's expected to criticize former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for the apparent lag between the time that agents discovered possible Clinton investigation-related emails on Anthony Weiner's laptop.
One aspect of Horowitz's report that remains unclear is how it will address the "allegations that the Department and FBI employees improperly disclosed non-public information."
One source familiar with the scope of the report said accusations that FBI agents in New York leaked information about the Clinton investigation to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani have been examined.

Sounds like the delay in releasing the report has had the desired affect of mitigating the seriousness of crimes committed by Comey, McCabe, Lynch, DOJ and FBI.

Sounds like the gist of the report is to blame FBI, DOJ for improperly re-starting the Hillary investigation which hurt her in the election.
This is a white wash from hell. Mark my words. The emphasis will be on crap like “insubordination” for reopening the hillary criminal investigation for one day and then after not reading 600,000 emails on pervert weiner’s illegal server — gave her a total pass!!n Nothing new!! I think the FBI is slow-walking the IG report to try to release it in time for the Trump-Kim meeting in Singapore, so the MSM can embarrass President Trump with insulting questions while he's standing next to Kim.
They want to belittle Trump and steal his thunder while he's standing next to the most tyrannical world leader on Earth.

The way things are going, the IG will probably work Trump into the equation and infer that he obstructed justice somehow. This is way beyond kabuki...
Washington Post is reporting (there is another thread on it) that the IG Report will be released on 14 June.

I am sitting here in disbelief. This is treasonous.Trump should fire sessions,mueller, rosybutt,all 13 thugs that work for mule face and pardon himself. He should then order the arrest of hillary,bill, Chelsea ,hum a wiener, and that entire gang of bribe taking espionage criminals. And I don’t want to hear that “no one is above the law.” After Hillary skated ,that dog don’t hunt!! It’s time the man we elected TAKE OVER!!
