Posted on 06/07/2018 10:31:19 AM PDT by caww
President Donald Trump excluded a variety of domestic Islamic groups linked to the Muslim Brotherhood from his first White House annual Islamic Iftar dinner. The exclusion is a sharp change from former President Barack Obama, who put the Brotherhood-linked groups front-and-center in his Iftar dinners and his Middle East strategy. His regional strategy crashed once the Brotherhood groups in Egypt, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, and other countries were unable to restrain their Islamic radicalism during the so-called Arab Spring.
Reports show that most of the invitees at the dinner were the ambassadors of Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Morocco. The dinner marks the end of the Islamic Ramadan season of fasting.
Among the excluded political groups were the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Also excluded were the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), which cater to Muslim immigrants from Arab countries and from the Indian sub-continent.

.....”most of the invitees at the dinner were ‘the ambassadors’ of Islamic countries”.........
Excellent call on Trumps part!
So.....Brennan, Soetoro, and ValJar weren’t invited. OK.
This man never fails with the intelligent choices he makes.
The murderers don’t deserve a place at the table
I wouldn’t quite go that far, but yes, Pres. Trump has made some good choices.
Trump seems to get it across the board.
Couldn’t be happier with my 2016 vote folks.
Most everyday we get a story like this that just puts a smile in my day! This is the way life in America is supposed to be
Obama was and still is a MUZZIE!
And the “Iftar” dinner marks the end of the DAY of fasting, NOT the end of Ramadan (expected to be June 14).
Muslim Brotherhood must be going ape over this...
I think his current legal name is Soetoro.
Interesting as he could speak with the ambassadors during and after the diner, such a wise choice of guests.
Because he has a core he inherently understands the difference between sit and sicem
They’re fasting anyway. Inviting them to dinner seems sort of inconsiderate.
