Rogue House Republicans are preparing to grant amnesty to 3.2 million illegal aliens
The Hill ^ | 06/07/18 | Ira Mehlman

Immigration has been electoral gold for Republicans in the last few elections cycles. As Democrats have moved increasingly in the direction of an amnesty-only approach to illegal immigration, Republicans at the federal and state level have succeeded by promising voters real immigration enforcement.

Running on that platform, Republicans captured both houses of Congress and the White House in 2016. Both in his campaign and as president, Donald Trump laid out a comprehensive list of reforms to halt illegal immigration and vowed to oppose any form of amnesty for those who violated our laws.

In 2018, as legislators prepare to face the voters once again, Republicans have delivered nothing in the way of meaningful immigration enforcement legislation, but seem poised to pass legislation in the House that would grant amnesty to some 3.2 million illegal aliens (more than four times the number of people who received DACA protections), without even vague assurances that large-scale illegal immigration will be tamed.

A small group of House Republicans are teaming with a unified Democratic caucus to present a discharge petition to Speaker Paul Ryan, forcing him to bring an immigration bill to the floor. The bill that the rogue Republicans have settled on is the Uniting and Securing America (USA) Act, H.R. 4796, written by Reps. Will Hurd (R-Texas) and Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.), which would grant full amnesty to all illegal aliens who entered the country as minors.

Etc...

Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy -

Stop giving prizes

for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.

This must be stopped.

Will you help stop this?
You can help:
Right-click this image, or just drag it to the desktop, and save it. Email it; post it on your Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts. Send a copy to President Trump, your Senators and Reps right now and whenever you communicate with them. When you get fundraising solicitations, include a copy in your reply. Send copies to your friends and family and ask them to do likewise. Spread it everywhere.

Yeah, the rinos PROMISE a lot of things. Actually fulfilling, or even intending to fulfill those promises is another story.

“If they [Republicans] want to sell out the interests of workers and taxpayers and buy us off with another study, that’s the American people’s business, and they [Republicans]can expect that they will be soundly rebuffed by the voters.”

Yep, so the voters will vote in democrats, (or not vote, which is a vote for democrats by default), who will really sell out the voters’ interest.

The correct thing to do is chip away at RINOs and get their sorry asses out of office.

With a certain veto looming and the enormous task of getting it through the Senate, I have to wonder what these so-called Republicans are thinking?

Are there majority GOP districts where a majority of GOP voters support amnesty? I cannot believe that.

They are doing this because their CoC donors are telling them to do it. And that makes them the most disgusting toilet scum you ever saw.

They must be eliminated from the party at all costs. I’d rather have a Democrat and known enemy in a seat than a traitor.

The Republicans backing this, including Paul Ryan, are really plotting to lose the House to the Democrats and precipitate the impeachment of President Trump. Ryan is planning to be a very wealthy man after he retires from Congress in January. They should be hounded through the streets for what they are doing and never get a moment’s peace for the rest of their lives.

If this passes (although I hope the Senate will kill it), I’d like to see President Trump veto it and include a statement of what he needs to approve Amnesty.

Note: Amnesty is immoral, and it would be harmful to America, but it might still be worth the trade if we could get real progress that outweighed the damage.

Trump’s list should include things that support the patriotic agenda and also poll well, so it’s a political win:
- Build, patrol, and maintain the Wall,
- Deport all illegals other than those already in the DACA system, no exceptions,
- End chain migration, the diversity lottery, and all other forms of legal immigration, other than merit-based immigration that helps both the country as a whole and working Americans in particular,
- Fix the laws that make immigration hearings take so long, so that illegals can be deported the day they are detained.

It would be useful to actually post the list of offending Republicans so they can be chastised appropriately.

Mitch knows he loses the Senate if he allows this to hit the Senate floor.

He has already said, if Trump doesn’t approve of the legislation we will not take it up in the Senate.

Now what he will pull after the election and he is still Majority Leader? Who knows...

If Kennedy resigns and they have a vacancy on the USSC no way in hell will they deal with Scamnasty...

Trump vetoes.

They override. Trump cruises to a second term and they all get slaughtered at the ballot box.

Works for me.

Republicans: if they didn’t stab you in the back in their quest to get along with Democrats you’d hardly know they were there.
