It was a put-down, and an exceptional one. Trump went on in detail about everyone and what they've done and how pleased he is with their results, saved Magoo for last, and then...just made a polite mention. In other words, he's saying Sessions hasn't done diddly squat unlike the rest of his cabinet.

Its hard to sympathize with poor ole jeff. He shoulda told trump he thought he had to recuse himself before he got appointed, not after. He deserves all the contempt he is getting. From all corners. His stupid unnecessary action has led to this 15 month melodrama for absolutely nothing.
