Yesterday FBI Director of Counterintelligence E.W. Bill Priestap testified to a joint session of the House Judiciary and House Oversight committees.
The hearing was a matter of strong public interest. Mr. Priestap was questioned for approximately seven hours. However, journalist Olivia Beavers covering for The Hill dropped a detail that most, including myself, might find rather curious:
(The Hill) [ ] Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.), however, said he felt that Priestap didnt say anything that would indicate there was political bias that motivated the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Priestap completely backed up everything that Comey said, according to a source familiar with his testimony.
Only three lawmakers Jordan, Meadows and Krishnamoorthi attended the hearing, which took place on the first day after a weeklong recess.

What is going on?
They were shown enough of their own file, that they lost interest in other files.
Was this about the emails only or the trump stuff too?
It’s a closed hearing and penalties for leaking are stiff.
No opportunity for grandstanding, no upside for their re-election.
I guess Congress is out trolling for more bribes — um, I mean, working very hard to work for the American people.
Weren't we breathlessly awaiting Priestap's testimony 'cause rumor was that he had flipped?
So much for the Q opioid that these people had flipped and we’re on the verge of unsealing indictments, arrests, etc.
Small wonder Ryan picked today to attaboy Mueller and backstab Trump. The swamp holds most of the cards.
Thanks for nothing, Q-hoaxers. ‘We have it all,’ is a punchline.
Its a closed hearing and penalties for leaking are stiff.

Is anyone ever penalized? LOL
Hey...back off!!! The congresslosers are too busy slapping each other on the back, kissing each others’ a**es and counting their money to attend these meetings.
The swamp holds most of the cards.

These transitory investigations are just a bump in the road for the Swamp. They run DC and sadly that isn’t going to change in the long run.
Right you are! Congress could care less.
That is so true. Republican hearings are a waste of time. Nothing ever changes. The only possible change could come from a strong, aggressive, conservative AG, but Sessions is at the beck and call of Grima Wormtongue, aka swamp monster Rosenstein.
but they could catch a nap and nobody would know ;) You are right, only interested when the cameras are rolling
You make a very good point (i.e., a real AG could make a world of difference). Leadership sets the tone for an organization and it holds people accountable. Integrity has to start at the top, and we don’t have that at all.
For the sake of our country and our democracy, I pray that Trump will find a way to soon replace Sessions and Rosenstein (the de facto AG).
They were shown enough of their own FBI file, that they lost interest in other files.
Recall that Mr Brilliant Insider, mark bradman aka sundance has been telling folks for months that Priestap has been a star witness against all the obama clinton dirtbags. This small report about the testimony doesnt suggest that was the case at all. ( In fact I dont see where sundance bradman makes any reference to his insistent nonsense). It also might explain why no one attended. If the staff report already summarized his testimony that nothing untoward existed why spend a day listening to that drivel?
“Nothing ever changes”
Wrong. Trump beat Hillary.
If Priestap was testifying for hours does this mean Meadows and Jordan asking 66% of the questions? I like the fact that no RINOs were there to cover for the DS or to slow these two Freedom Caucus members down.
Read the bleeding context, for crying out loud. Nothing ever changes As A Result Of Republican-led Hearings.
Btw, if Republican hearings could have thwarted Trump’s victory, they’d have been conducting them 24-7. Fact.
Subramanian (Raja) Raja Krishnamoorthi, a first termer, was the Dem.
