The Trump administration is disbanding a panel of experts focused on protecting consumers from financial abuse.

Members of the panel, called the Consumer Advisory Board, say Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Acting Director Mick Mulvaney has dissolved the group, which includes consumer advocates, financial industry representatives, community leaders and others.

As head of the CFPB, Mulvaney has moved to eliminate or blunt a number of financial regulations, including rules for payday lending, pre-paid cards, mortgages and student loans, while also curbing its industry oversight.

CFPB has at least 3 reasons to be abolished NOW...

1. it duplicates the other 7 or 8 agencies (actually copying their massive regulations and mostly just putting the cfpb logo on them)
2. it is unconstitutionally set up, structured.. to be free of any meaningful official oversight...
3. Obama stuffed it full of Swamp Critters...

What would we do without experts? We're about to find out.

The evidence will show that they did bugger all.

It was an extortion racket. They issued massive fines and donated them to liberal causes.

LOL, 'bugger all'...don't know why, but that makes me laugh just reading it.

I have posted these before, but they bear posting again...what if he manages to continue this for the rest of his term and any additional term he may elected to?

I dare say Ted Cruz with 75% of both houses of Congress wouldn’t be as efficient or determined. Whatever Cruz’s good points may be, he is an insider.

While the left repeats its ‘failed billionare’ oxymoron over and over they fail to recognize that Trump ran not just businesses but businesses that had to deal with the public and/or with government. In the public instances problems had to be identified, fixed and prevented or else business suffered. In the government instance, the red tape, graft and corruption and the annoying, pervasive sense of entitlement among bureaucrats no doubt drove him to distraction.

He is not a vengeful person, but he is not a forgetful person. Like the rest of us, he can’t believe that so many people are so dedicated to preserving a system that spends so much and achieves so little over so long a period of time.

Why not just get rid of the CFPB altogether?

Great! Anything to humiliate LIBs, to ridicule LIBs, to frustrate LIBs, to make LIBs irrelevant, to drive them further into their lunacy, to cause them to gnash their teeth, to cause their heads to implode, to cause them to run in circles chasing shining objects...ANYTHING!!! Hahaha! Winning!!!

Yes. And let’s also get rid of that
