Sen. John McCain said Saturday that he supports an effort in the House of Representatives to force a vote on an immigration bill.
“I strongly support the bipartisan effort in the House to file a discharge petition to reopen the debate on immigration reform and bring up our #USAAct for a vote,” the Arizona Republican wrote in a tweet
A bipartisan group of lawmakers, including Republican Reps. Will Hurd of Texas, Jeff Denham of California and and Carlos Curbelo of Florida, introduced the Uniting and Securing America Act in January. The bill would shield undocumented immigrants brought to the US as children who have been protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program from deportation.
McCain introduced a companion version of the bill in the Senate in February. The legislation also calls for additional security measures at the US-Mexico border.

Why would we give any weight to the supposed words of a man, so self centered and blinded by the lust for power, that he would hold his state hostage for a year, not doing his job representing them, rather than stepping down as anyone with a lick of honor would do?
Just another senator. A grandstander who milked his Viet Nam experience to turn him into something he’s not. To think he was the conservative alternative to Bush in 2000. We needed a win so W was it Good job Republicans. It couda been worse with Gore. Sometimes you bite the bullet. His loss was like Hillary’s in 2008. Set them up for 8 years down the road. 8 years for the voters to get it wrong.

The text of McCains statement is as follows:
“I, as a U.S. airman, am guilty of crimes against the Vietnamese country and people. I bombed their cities, towns and villages and caused many injuries, even deaths, for the people of Vietnam.
I was captured in the capital city of Hanoi, while attacking it. After I was captured, I was taken to the hospital in Hanoi, where I received very good medical treatment. I was given an operation on my leg, which allowed me to walk again, and a cast on my right arm, which was badly broken in three places.
The doctors were very good and they knew a great deal about the practice of medicine. I remained in the hospital for some time and regained much of my health and strength. Since I arrived in the camp of detention, I received humane and lenient treatment.
Of course that statement came as a result of “torture” by the N. Vietnamese, however McCain has proven to be on the other side of what’s good for the USA. With all the torture administered he has been able to live well into the old age.

This is ridiculous that the Senate is allowing “McCain” to keep sending out his policy decisions when we are also being told he is on his death bed with Governor Ducey making last-minute plans to appoint Cindy McCain to his Senate seat. This “death-bed policy making” should not be allowed.
One of these will eventually come out on a day on which he later dies. No one will ask “How’d he do that?”

Well, you’ve got to understand that McCain is very, very sick and probably really mess up on medications.
