The muslims got half of TransJordan, and the Jews were promised half. Not good enough for the muslims, they wanted all of TransJordan. The slice that the Jews got is a tiny fraction of what was promised. The "Palestinian" muslims got Jordan but wanted more, and are trying to push the Jews into the sea while attempting to take all of Israel. Stupid Joy Reid should keep her trap shut, or die.
No, actually the Jews were promised ALL of the Palestinian Mandate held by Britain under the Balfour Declaration (based on their help fighting the Turks in WW1 - it wasn’t for free). What later transpired is that Transjordan (today’s Jordan) was sliced off to appease the Arabs (how’s that working out?), and Transjordan was 7/8 of that land area. Then the Jews didn’t even get all of what was left - Egypt grabbed Gaza, and Jordan kept the “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria), so the Jews got less than 1/8 of what they were promised in the Balfour Declaration.
