Trump needs to be careful with this sort of thing. Maybe OK in this case but I would not like to see him rescuing businesses that really should be allowed to fail.

More likely Trump is re-leveling the playing field after Obama INTENTIONALLY un-leveled it, so as to achieve the goal of having those plants shut down, but still have cover to blame the shutdowns on market forces.
I wouldn’t worry too much and I like the idea of not running out of power, and/or being so dependent on natural gas.
These businesses were only in trouble because Obama tried to kill them by imposing all sorts of restrictions on them. It was ridiculous and it really would have hurt us had they been allowed to go under. Fortunately President Trump got in office just in time to undo a lot of the damage Obama did before it was too late.
