North Korea highly values the Russian government’s course, in particular that of President Vladimir Putin, for countering the US’ dominance, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Thursday.

No particular book. I read some books about the history of the War long ago and listened to some veterans. There are many good publications on the Internet about it now. Even saw some accurate material at Wikipedia (changes there always possible, though).

Something to look for would be information about how Russia and China were behind much of it. Expansion is very important to those nations, and they don't like to lose any real estate or populations.
