I work in San Francisco. I’ll not soon forget my co-worker who I saw at the coffee shop first thing the next morning who said, “it feels like 9/11”. They were truly unprepared for this.
who said, it feels like 9/11. They were truly unprepared for this.”
Well for all of us deplorables and those in flyover country, the entire 8 years felt like 9/11 to us.
so there.
One morning in January, 2017, someone in my office remarked that everyone seemed in a funk, not feeling well, etc. Someone grumbled “Maybe it’s because it’s Inauguration Day.” I perked up and brightly said, “It’s like Christmas morning to me!”
Oh, the looks I got.
I’ll cherish them. Always.
On Election Day morning I turned off the TV, computer, & car radio and went dark until the next morning certain that Hillary would steal the election. I couldn’t bear to watch the media people gloat as state by state fell to the ‘Rats.
At 7:00 I turned on Fox News. It was electrifying.
“You mean....Donald Trump....WON THE ELECTION!!!?”
I quickly surfed around the MSM channels. The shock, grief, and stunned disbelief on the talking heads’ faces was such I had not seen since the Reagan victory in 1980.
Of course, I can relive it on youtube under “election night meltdown”. Cenk Uyghur & his not so young Turks going strawberry fields remains a 26 minute long Schadenfreude.
