Here’s what will happen.
Sara Gilbert is not only an actress on the show, but the producer. How she convinced the network and the production company for this position....is an unknown. But in this process....she hired up a number of SJW writers for the show. To some minor degree....she did allow Roseanne some moments to press on stories, but if you notice back four weeks ago....Sara mandated that NO Trump mention would occur in the 2019 season. She was already modeling the show to be a SJW concept.
So I think Roseanne figured all of this out, and did the correct thing...faking out ABC enough on fake racism stuff, and getting the series cut. Or...did they just invent the creation (the “Jackie” show)?
Rumor has it that talks started up yesterday on Jacky, Dan and producer Gilbert moving onto a series without Roseanne. I don’t think John Goodman will agree to the angle, and he will be killed off as well as a character.
But I think Roseanne already has a new show idea in the making and likely talking to Fox. My suggestion? Make it a show about a dead mother from the heartland area (yeah, like the Roseanne character) who has died but God won’t open the gates for her, and she has to return...probably in the form of some black mother who has four kids who need mature leadership. Yep, Roseanne emerges and the second Gilbert creation flounders.
That’s my prediction. ABC took the bait, and lost their big chance.

Again. IIRC, that’s how the original series ended — with “Dan” dying.

Yeah I had noticed that the only time they did mention Trump was in the first episode..that was it..the season finale they actually took a dig at President Trump(After there was a flood in Lanford and Trump declared it a disaster area, so Roseanne could use the money to get her knee surgery) Sara’s character Darlene said “Oh he just tweeted Illinois wrong does it still count” so yes they were already starting the Trump bashing..Roseanne knew this, and wanted no part in it..in some weird way she might have wanted off the show
Interesting thoughts.
Had always heard how intelligent she was, but that was before Big Media decided she was a conservative.
However, what I’ve seen of her tweets seems to put her far below President Trump’s way with words, grammar and punctuation.
Unless she’s a really poor proofreader, but that’s a big negative, too, as conservatives are held to a higher standard of conduct.
Hope she’s up to being a “conservative” now.
