Israel tried women as frontline troops, it failed, they reversed the policy. Women can serve as "combat troops" only in two border guard battalions. 2015 Israel evaluated their policy on women in combat and decided to keep women out of combat units.

Unlike the US and UK, there is an iota of common sense in IDF leadership.
